The Challenge
The Approach
The brand was refined in a layered approach the guiding principle here is “In order to tell a story with various aspects/elements focus on conveying the meaning in a prioritized manner telling the most essential elements clearly and boldly”So the most essential elements were chosen from the brand message points. The company is built on the owner’s vision of leaving a mark of legacy on the industry and country. This was transformed into the initials of the name (YA). Moreover, Construction being the industry combined to give the Brand Name YACON. In Ethiopia, brand names must state/indicate the sector they engage in. which was conveyed with the name building contractor.The concept of the logo mark was executed with the aforementioned brand name with even spaces and stencil feels to communicate pieces coming together, using a clear and geometric typeface with a thick weight to affirm the reliable and well-thought solution the brand wants to convey.
